On Council President's Remarks Concerning Peterson & McCarthy
Can our system of power politics and self-serving or misguided issues ever change for the better 2021?
On Council President's Remarks Concerning Peterson & McCarthy
Here is what i see; agreeing to disagree is not the solution, what is best for Parsippany and all places in our time is a sense of ecology, or a new vocabulary of how the world really works; as we expand and reach limits; for example traffic is not just congestion, its dirty air, water is not just turning on a faucet its life and it;s injured by how we live and plan our community, with it in mind. Over development has caused water deficits and need for water diversions, which raise costs. We now have 4-wells down, and require more water from other sources. In the past local republicans rejected and smeared regional planning and ignored facts about our water situation. They rejected science under the guise of "keep government out of our lives".
(Thanks now to Mayor Soriano, we finally are in the Highlands Water Protection and Planning Act; long overdue. I feel sadly because of Housing Obligations and lower numbers expected due to protecting our remaining sensitive places).
Nature is the background of all life, and most of our common problems stem from bad practices toward nature; and a one dimensional system of money that dominate US all in an unfair unjust system we are all subjected to.

Laws of Nature are the real criteria, not what the market will bare; as the laws of such exist in a vacuum as if nature does not exist, and we continue to injure life itself on Finite Planet Earth..On a local level the Town should be first priority, its condition of character, from improper developments and zoning adjustments,to degradation by trash and ignoring proper sanitation practices.
Local politics or managements should not be dependent on national partisan patriots. When this happens community is undermined by corporate real estate interest that surround US. Property then becomes anti-community; and where has the tax-ratable chase gotten Parsippany anyway?
The Republican Council rejected a "democratic" attempt for a minor tax increase of an average $4.32 per homeowners; only to then suddenly approve a water/sewer increase for everyone, which amounts to a lot more in a overall expense, which hurts seniors and less income residence, all for the alarm of "tax". Silly. At least with the tax increase that would of solved the present water infrastructure predicament brought on by spending the surplus, for still unknown not made transparent ways by the former administration, senior for example could of had the tax returned by the State Senior Freeze. How was this a wise move?

We must reject Partisan Politics on he local level. Parsippany Republicans' openly supported Trump, that should be enough for all. What is Trump but another form of the Confederacy of Corporations or Plantations are people, another attempt to subvert democracy even further by corporate power, over all and science itself.
Sure hope Peterson and McCarthy can be replaced not just a fill in the blank.
