Driver Killed in I-280 Crash in Parsippany

It took several hours to clear the scene.

A car crash on Tuesday afternoon killed one driver, according to CBS, on Interstate 280 westbound near exit 1.

The crash occurred around 2:20 p.m. and the driver that was killed struck a trailer that had unfastened from a semi-trailer truck, according to CBS.

The accident closed down all westbound lanes, according to NJ.com. The scene was cleared a few hours later around 6:30 p.m.
