Father Of 2 Killed In Rt. 23 Crash Last Week: Prosecutor
A 51-year-old father of two originally from Australia was killed in the crash last week, a spokesperson said.

RIVERDALE, NJ — The man killed in a Rt. 23 crash last week has been identified as Robert Murray, 51, of Highland Lakes, a spokesperson for the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.
Murray was driving on Rt. 23 on Oct. 22 when he was struck by two trucks the Daily Record reported. No one else was injured in the crash, officials said.
Originally from Australia, Murray was "a kind soul. He always had a smile on his face. He will be deeply missed by many," friends wrote on a fundraiser set up for his children, who are now orphaned.

"These young ladies have had the hardest life so far," friends said of Murray's two daughters, who lost their mother to a heart attack several years ago. "They are going to need all the support they can get."
So far, over $18,000 have been raised. Funds will be put towards funeral expenses, and anything above and beyond that will benefit the children.

Friends shared warm memories of Murray alongside donations.
"Our daughters were in the same girl scout troop for a couple of years. Robert was a very nice and kind man, a little reserved but with some coaxing, his Aussie humor came out. He cared deeply for his daughters and was very encouraging and protective of them. Our hearts go out to the girls," one wrote.
"Rob always made me smile when I saw him. I can't believe I saw you a month ago and you are not here any longer Please Liz and MJ, let us know if there is anything else we can do," added another."
