Fighter Jet Spotted Flying Low In Morris County
Low-flying fighter jet violates temporary flight restriction in place during United Nations session.
A low-flying jet reported by a number of Morris County Police Departments was spotted above Morris County. According to the Morris County Office of Emergency Management, temporary flight restrictions were set into place in air space above New York as a result of the ongoing United Nations sessions.
The Morris County Communications Center received a number of reports earlier this morning about the low-flying fighter jet.
"We have been informed that the situation was resolved without any issues impacting Morris County," said Jeffrey S. Paul, the Director of the Morris County Office of Emergency Management.
