From Housing Scare to Pot Scare
As if the marijuana decriminalization will lead to dope dens on every corner, among the vacant over-developed landscape market will bear.
From Housing Scare to Pot Scare
Saying that you have particular moral beliefs but behaving in a way that shows these are not sincere. Parsippany's Marijuana Resolution.
Republican Party dissemblers
a person who professes beliefs and opinions that he or she does not hold in order to conceal his or her real feelings or motives. It is obvious that the legalization of Marijuana both medical and or recreational is being used as a political football to gain some moral, and insincere ground. Although the majority of people of the time wish to have this cannabis plant decriminalized and available like other products of a pharmaceutical nature a closed minded political circle is imposing on that opportunity on a local level.
Hypocrites Expand the Bans
In my opinion they are creating hypothetical situations of degeneracy if this new economic prosperity is allowed its freedom. At the same time one must ask; where were these voices or any voices when other products appeared on the market and let loose in the community or environment? The small airport liquor bottles, that make it easy to drink, drive, litter with the additional cumulative waste of materials plastic and aluminum caps? The latest vape products, are now ever common in the litter stream, the waste is in addition the already disgraceful cigarette trash, of butts, packs, lighters. The outcome of these unhealthy products on individuals and against all principals of clean community, are conveniently ignored.
If Council has the power to ban medical and recreational cannabis, then take it to the next level and ban these other products of negative freedom and demise of health.
Hypothetical
The same council members that profess concern for a problem that has not occurred and is unlikely according to the law itself, age restrictions, and home use, will not even enforce its own Plastic Bag Ban in favor of business over community.

Pandemic Ignored Politics not Science
These same council members that profess such concern for public safety, are and have been pushing to reopen publically attended Council meetings during a Pandemic to attempt a subversion of Science or is it Governor Murphy? The mystery is why is the administration accommodating these request?.
State officials are hopeful that a third wave of the coronavirus has crested. “It’s baby steps but we like that the numbers are starting to go in a better direction,” said Gov. Phil Murphy. “For my taste, it’s still too early to declare victory…but I am quietly, cautiously optimistic.” The number of new cases for April 19 was 2,323, lower than the model for best and moderate cases state forecast it was expected to reach its high. Comparatively, the daily high’s in the most recent waves were 4,699 cases on April 1, 6,922 Jan. 13 and 6,247 on Dec. 12, 2020

What we have in this Country today and here in Parsippany is a form of revival of the Confederacy where no compromise is possible and when there is the system as a whole takes a step down, in the name of individual or corporate private interest against the community.
Due Diligence?
The Council Republicans are alleging they have done their due diligence? Really; how with biased research or sources? We must hope their Due Diligence is not like in the past, during the affordable housing fiasco, and fear promoted to the community, or like Highlands Conformance and the falsities, and deliberate lies told about it. The unnecessary loss of Waterview Landscape all based on lies and deliberate misinformation. Where was your due diligence then? How much unnecessary costs did your silence, and lack of any due diligence costs local taxpayers?
Drug Free School Zones we have already, when will they be litter free?
