How 4th Of July Will Affect Parsippany's Trash, Recycling Pickup

Monday is a municipal holiday in Parsippany. Here's the upcoming schedule for garbage and recycling collection.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — It's almost time to kick back, relax and celebrate the birthday of the United States. But those celebrations aren't so fun when you miss your garbage collection day.

Monday is a municipal holiday in Parsippany, which will result in some changes to garbage and recycling pickup. Here's the upcoming schedule:

  • Friday, July 2: Garbage Districts 3, 5, 6, Recycling District 5, Yard Waste District 5
  • Saturday to Monday (July 3-5): no collection
  • Tuesday, July 6: Garbage Districts 1, 2, 4, Recycling District 1, Yard Waste District 1
  • Wednesday, July 7: Garbage Districts 3, 5, 6, Recycling Districts 2 & 6, No Cardboard Pickup, Yard Waste Districts 2 & 6
  • Thursday, July 8: Garbage Districts 1, 2, 4, Recycling District 3, Yard Waste District 3
  • Friday, July 9: Garbage Districts 3, 5, 6, Recycling Districts 4 & 5, Yard Waste Districts 4 & 5
