The Melting Pot In Whippany Closes For Good

WHIPPANY, NJ — The Melting Pot in Whippany has closed its doors for good as of Sunday night, the restaurant said online.

The restaurant's last day in business was Sunday, Feb. 23. The closure was blamed on the landlord's future plans for the center.

"We appreciate the opportunity to have served the Whippany community for over 12 years at this location. Thank you for your patronage," they wrote.

Although they are not planning on re-opening in Whippany, The Melting Pot said they are actively looking for a franchise candidate to open a location in Central Jersey.

Still interested in eating at the Melting Pot? Westwood and Red Bank locations remain open.
