Member of Parsippany Seniors Dies at 98

Margaret V. (nee-McCarthy) Devine passed away on Thursday, Oct. 10 at the age of 98 in her home.

She was born and raised Manhattan before moving to Parsippany in 1955. Devine was a dedicated homemaker and a member of the Parsippany Seniors, according to her obituary from Par Troy Funeral Home .

She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew on Dec. 26, 1995 and her brothers: William and Daniel McCarthy.

Survivors include her sons: Andrew C. and his wife Patricia and William J. and his wife Mary all of Parsippany; and her four cherished grandchildren: Scott Devine and his wife Ann, Keith Devine, Judy Devine-Geuther and her husband John, and Steven Devine and his wife Lorelei; and her two treasured great-grandchildren Conner and Cole Devine.   

Relatives and friends attended her Liturgy of Christian Burial on Oct. 15 at St. Christopher R.C. Church in Parsippany and her interment was at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
