Need A Vaccine Appointment? These Parsippany Peeps Can Help
Paula Peterscheck and her group of 100 volunteers stand read to assist.
PARISPPANY, NJ - As the Garden State continues to expand COVID-19 vaccination eligibility and supply slowly starts to creep up to demand, residents are still struggling to find the elusive inoculation appointments.
Paula Peterscheck can help.
"I run a group of over 100 volunteers who make covid vaccine appointments for people. We quite literally work around the clock helping people secure vaccine appointments across the state," she told Patch. "We work primarily on Facebook, but realize that medium is limiting in regards to scope."

Peterscheck said her group wants to assist a larger community, specifically marginalized communities, people who have limited access to the internet, regardless of where that barrier comes from.
"We want to help as many people as we can, throughout our state, to get those shots into people’s arms," she said. "I have personally booked 84 appointments in the last three weeks. My group has over 500 appointments that they’ve booked in total."
