No New COVID Cases Reported In Parsippany
Seventy-three percent of Parsippany adults and 60 percent of all residents are vaccinated against COVID-19.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — While some of Morris County's smaller towns have accomplished the feat, a certain pandemic feat arguably means something different when the county's most populous town does it. Parsippany reported no new COVID-19 cases Wednesday.
Officials have reported 4,246 cases in the township since the pandemic began. But new cases are slowing down locally, county-wide and in New Jersey. Parsippany's case total has only increased by six since May 28.
Seventy-three percent of Parsippany's adults have been fully vaccinated against the virus, according to the New Jersey Department of Health. For comparison, 72 percent of eligible New Jerseyans have received at least one dose — sixth among all states. New Jersey is still working to reach 70 percent of adults fully vaccinated.
