Overturned Tractor Trailer Snarls Traffic On Route 80 Wednesday

ROXBURY, NJ - An overturned tractor trailer has shut down an eastbound lane in advance of the Wednesday morning rush hour, according to officials.

With one lane out of commission delays of 25 to 30 minutes are anticipated around exit 28, which is the exit to CR 631 and Route 46 in Roxbury Township. Complicating matters is another reported accident at exit 25 causing a 20 minute delay and ongoing construction creating a new traffic pattern at exit 30.

The truck overturning initially closed all lanes of the thoroughfare shortly after 4 a.m. but by 7 a.m. only one lane was blocked, officials said.
