P.F. Chang's Nixes Plans For First Morris Co. Location
Sorry, Morris County: looks like there won't be a P.F. Chang's any time soon after all.
ROCKAWAY, NJ — P.F. Chang's China Bistro has abandoned plans to open a Rockaway Townsquare Mall location, a spokesperson confirmed.
The Asian eatery was approved at a planning board meeting in January, but no further information was ever released. A spokesperson did not say why they backed off plans.
This was set to be the first Morris County location for the popular restaurant chain. Other nearby P.F. Chang's locations currently include Wayne, Hackensack and West New York.

A mall spokesperson did not immediately respond to questions about other possible restaurant openings in its place.
