Par Troy East Minors Softball-Team Paul Miller Takes Championship
Team Quick Chek put up a strong fight, but was defeated in the final game of the series.

It was the perfect morning for a little friendly competition in what became the season's final game for Par Troy East (PTE) Softball Minors, as Team Paul Miller took the PTE Softball Minors Championship.
The game was a nail bitter! Team Quick Chek was up 4-3 in the 1st. Team Paul Miller led 7-5 in the 2nd, then Quick Chek powered ahead again in the 3rd 9-8. Paul Miller took the lead 12-9 in the 4th going into the final 5th inning (no run limit). The last inning Paul Miller was held to just one additional run making the score 13-9. Quick Chek added a run with a speedy steal to home by Olivia Freire and loaded up the bases with the go ahead run at the plate and 2 outs.

Big hitters from Paul Miller were: Haley Kosovitz and Samantha Gallo going 2-2, Kathryn Montecuollo and Mackenzie Sibilia going 2-3.
Quick Chek’s Anais Roman went 2-2, Jasmine Booker went 2-3 and Piya Parulekar, Lillian VonAchen, Sydney Burke, Jayah Curtis and Olivia Freire all batted 500.
