Parsippany 'Coffee with a Cop' A Success: Chief
The second annual event was held at the Parsippany Library on Wednesday morning.
PARSIPPANY, N.J.– Parsippany Police Chief Paul Philipps and department officers were joined by Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp, Mayor James Barberio, and Council President Louis Valori at the library for "Coffee with a Cop."
"This event helps us to continue to build upon our current community policing efforts and foster stronger relationships with the residents of Parsippany-Troy Hills," Philipps said.

According to Philipps, officials and the large number of attendees exchanged greetings and discussed issues such as traffic and crime.
"Coffee with a Cop" is a national program which brings police officers and the community
members they serve together–over coffee–to discuss issues and learn more about each other, according to its website.
