PARSIPPANY, NJ - The never ending stream of snow storms has made it harder for first responders to do their jobs and officials are asking for help to fix it.

As a reminder, Fire Prevention is reminding citizens to clear hydrants near their homes. This action helps the departments immensely, and could be what helps save your home or your neighbor's home, they noted.

If a hydrant needs to be accessed during a fire emergency, responders would have to spend precious time clearing it. Time that could be spent fighting the fire.

Those with questions can call (973) 263-7166.
