Parsippany Express Cross Country Running for Kids Ages 7 - 14
Fall cross country starts practicing in late July. The team practices at Morris County's Central Park twice weekly.
Cross country running provides an outlet for kids who are competitive, but it's also the type of activity that might appeal to those looking for a less aggressive sport, who need a positive outlet for their energy.
The Parsippany Express Cross Country Team practices and competes at Morris County's Central Park. Through their runs they encounter lush scenery, deer, beautiful sunsets and a welcoming spirit of camaraderie fostered by their ever-present coach, Tom Metz. The team practices on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
The team has seen some of its own compete in the Junior Olympics and has a diverse group of athletes ranging from new runners to those who are further along in their path.

There is still time to join and parents are welcomed to walk the course before the season. In addition, some parents assistant coach - jogging and encouraging throughout the season.
