Parsippany Gym Deals, If Fitness is Part Of Your New Years Plans

According to this Sept. 2018 Forbes Article, approximately 1 in 5 American adults belong to a gym, and the number is expected to double in the next decade or so.

I've been a member of LA Fitness in Parsippany for years, and have an on-again, off-again relationship with it in terms of going there (often choosing to work at home; I am a big fan of free FitnessBlender videos on YouTube that include high intensity interval training (HIIT), weight training and many others).

If you're in the market for a gym, I'd consider the following

1. What amenities do you think you will use (i.e. needing a large selection of weights, wanting yoga classes, or having a swimming pool)?

2. Are there enough machines during peak times if you're exercising with the other 75%? Make sure you plan a trial visit accordingly.

3. Are the machines in good condition? Try one of the free trials and make sure to use different machines to make sure squeaky clunkers don't outweigh high quality, well maintained equipment.

4. Is the location convenient to your home/work? Getting there is literally half the battle!
