Parsippany Gym to Host Innaugural 24-Hour Workout

The event is a fundraiser to benefit families of wounded or fallen heroes.

How much time do you spend at the gym? What about one full day?

CrossFit Parsippany, a training center and CrossFit Affiliate, is hosting a 24-hour workout to fundraise for the Seven Stars Foundation.

“The daily challenges that our military men and women endure are tough,” said Ryan Leffel, owner of CrossFit Parsippany. “Although this workout pales in comparison, we wanted to challenge our members and participants to show the amount of respect and admiration we have for our armed forces.”

“We’ll have a decent turnout and expect to raise several thousand dollars for a great foundation that provides support for the children of men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our nation,” said Leffel.

For the full 24 hours, donate $100 or if you just want to drop in for one or a few workouts, it’s $20 per exercise.

Helping with the event are local sponsors, such as sports therapists and food vendors.

100 percent of the proceeds will go to Seven Stars.
