Parsippany To Hold Virtual Memorial Day Ceremony

The township will broadcast and livestream the ceremony Monday.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany will once again hold a virtual Memorial Day ceremony because of the pandemic. The township says they've planned "a beautiful ceremony that will match the in-person observances we’ve held for years."

The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. Monday. Tune in to Public Access Channel 21, Facebook or YouTube. The ceremony will run every hour on the hour on public-access television. Click here for the Facebook event.

The township thanked Video on the Go and Council President Mike dePierro for their help in planning and executing the ceremony.

New Jersey is in the process of lifting many of its COVID-19 restrictions, including capacity limits. But many Memorial Day events in Morris County have been slated for a virtual or modified manner.
