Parsippany School Board Picks New President, VP

Fran Orthwein was made president and Frank Neglia was made vice president.

The new year rang in new faces for the Parsippany Board of Education.

At Tuesday's reorganization meeting, Fran Orthwein was made president and Frank Neglia was made vice president. Here's a look at the members and the length of their terms:

  • Joseph Cistaro (2016)
  • Alison Cogan (2016)
  • Susy Golderer (2014)    
  • Gary Martin (2014)
  • Sharif Shamsudin (2014)
Alison Cogan, Joseph Cistaro and Fran Orthwein beat out five other candidates for three seats on the Parsippany-Troy Hills school board, each with a three-year term in November and Frank Neglia beat out Anthony T Deintinis for an unexpired two-year term available on the board.
