Parsippany Spring Youth Activities - Comprehensive List

The "Parsippany Moms" group on Facebook helped gather activities of interest, as we look forward to warmer days in and around our town.

Sporty Kids

Parsippany Lacrosse Club - Boys & girls grades 3-8 starts late Feb/early March runs into mid-June. K-2 boys & girls free clinic Saturdays April - June.

Parsippany Redhawks Friday Night Hawks- every Friday 6-8pm. Grades K-8, boys & girls. No fee, no registration, no commitment - just show up. May 3-June 28 at Smith Field Turf.

Parsippany Soccer Club- Spring Break Camp April 15-19 (kids born in 2013-2005); 9am-12pm at Veterans Park.

Par Troy Little League East - Registration open until March 20 (kids ages 4-15).

Par Troy Little League West- open to kids ages 4-15; more info on website.

Girls on the Run - (grades 3-5) practices at Veteran's Park Tues/Thurs 5:30pm to 6:45pm. Casual running, not competitive.

Tennis Lessons at Knoll (community/senior center building) - 12 week programs. Visit website and contact for more details.

Spring Basketball clinic at the PAL - starts 4/22. Grades 2-8. 6 week classes/1 class per week.

Safesplash Swimming at LA Fitness Parsippany. Membership at the gym not necessary. Rolling admission monthly. Beginner to Advanced Strokes (race prep).

Parsippany Express Track - Kids ages 9-15 (no high school athletes permitted). Season begins in March (accepting registration until 3/31), meets begin in April and season ends late May/early June.

Kids Who Have (or Want to Have) all the Right Moves

Cheer and Tumbling classes at the PAL - oops started 2/25; to see if there's still space find contact info here.

Spring Karate at the PAL- starts 4/19 and runs through 6/21; ages 5 and up.

Rising Sun Cheer in East Hanover - Tumble Classes for ages 3-13. Free trial available. Call 973-202-3883.

Artsy Kids

Drawing classes at the PAL- ages 6-adult. Runs May 7 - June 11.

Painting classes at the PAL - Ages 6-12. Runs May 9 - June 13.

Cooking at Jeremiah's in downtown Lake Hiawatha - classes for kids & teens, including chocolate covered pretzels! They also offer birthday parties & special groups like Scouts.

Plein Watercolor in Historic Mount Tabor- Girl Scouts grades 2-12 are invited to explore the cottages along the park paths. They can then sketch & paint watercolors with a trained artist. Times vary - May 18, 25 and June 8.

Denville Recreation Music Theater - (open to non-residents). Grades 2-6, Fridays 6-7pm, April 5-June 14.
