The 200 Club of Morris County has 15 scholarship recipients for 2021.
PARSIPPANY, NJ - The 200 Club of Morris County has 15 scholarship recipients in 2021 and a Parsippany student is among them.
The program began in 1982 to provide college, post-high school education or vocational school assistance to children of active public safety personnel. Scholarship eligibility is limited to high school seniors serving in a Morris County branch of public safety or whose parent is actively serving or retired from a public safety capacity in Morris County.
This year, Rahul Patel of Parsippany High School was chosen.
"These students have shown extraordinary dedication to their studies while balancing their time to serve others in their communities," officials said in a statement. "They were chosen anonymously by members of The 200 Club's Scholarship Committee from a pool of 59 applicants."
