Par-Troy Schools Close Thursday, Friday for Convention

Schools are closed Thursday and Friday for the NJEA Convention. 

The Parsippany Kiwanis Club meets every Thursday morning at 7:15 a.m. at Empire Diner, 1315 Route 46, Parsippany. Stop by and learn about what the club does. Newcomers and visiting clubs are always welcome.

The Parsippany Library has several events going on to keep the kids busy. 

• At the Parsippany-Troy Hills Free Public Library, there's FUNTASTIC Preschool Storytime from 1:30 - 2:15 p.m. There will be stories, songs, fingerplays, and a craft. The free program is for ages 2 to 5.
• Also at the main library is Dork Diaries Program from 4 - 4:45 p.m. Enjoy games and a craft featuring the popular book series. This program is for ages 8-11.
• At the Mount Tabor Branch, drop in to make an edible fall art project to take home to eat. All ages are welcome and registration is not required. It runs from noon - 2:30 p.m.
