Residents Should Answer Contact Tracers Call: Parsippany Mayor

Mayor Michael Soriano says cooperation is important for fighting COVID-19.

PARSIPPANY, NJ - Local department of health contact tracing programs are getting a boost from a state level program and Parsippany Mayor Michael Soriano said it is an important step in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

"If you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus, a contact tracer will get in touch with you and tell you that you may have been infected, urge you to get tested, assist you with locating a testing site, and help you with support sources and recommendations for self-quarrantine," Soriano said.
