Rockaway Bridge Repairs: Partial Reopening Coming
Officials say the bridge may partially reopen within the next four to six weeks.
ROCKAWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — Morris County officials are lauding the progress made on a bridge in Rockaway Township project, according to a release from the county. The bridge, at Chestnut Terrace, is having a span replaced.
Installment on a precast structure has begun on the bridge, which could lead to a partial reopening within the next four to six weeks, the release says.
Construction crews guided the structure into place on Tuesday, the release says, and are moving toward the final stages of the project, which costs $675,000.
