Rockaway Water Main Break on Omaha Avenue, William Street, and Ellen Drive

A water main broke about 20 minutes ago near 34 Omaha Avenue in the White Meadow Lakes neighborhood of Rockaway. Some of the streets that have been affected by the subsurface water main break are Omaha Avenue, William Street, and Ellen Drive. Crews are on site repairing pipes. Authorities have no details yet on estimated time to restore water to affected homes.
