Scouts Invited to Virtual Scout Shabbat 3/12
Temple Beth Am hosts Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturers at Annual Event

Scouts of all faiths are invited to join Parsippany's Temple Beth Am in a celebration of Scouting on Friday evening, March 12, 2021 at 7:00PM. Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Scouts BSA will learn about the shared values of Judaism and scouting, and will have an opportunity to participate in the Shabbat service.
Scouts are asked to attend in uniform, and to preregister for the Zoom service at http://tinyurl.com/tbascoutsha..., to receive the service link.
Scouts who have completed a Jewish Scouting Emblem or Award in the past year, or who have achieved a Gold Award or Eagle Scout Rank within the past year, are asked to note this with their registration, so that their achievements can be recognized during Scout Shabbat.

"This will be our second virtual Scout Shabbat service," notes Lynn Anne Cutler, member of the Jewish Committee on Scouting and Director of Lifelong Learning at Temple Beth Am. "We were so pleased last year that so many scouts took advantage of the virtual platform to attend from all over. This year, we have even had scouts invite friends and family members from other states to join us online for the service. We are excited to see everyone Friday night!"
