Suspected Homicide In Parsippany Under Investigation: Prosecutor

A dead man and an injured man were found on Troy Road Sunday morning, authorities said.

PARSIPPANY, NJ - A dead man and an injured man were found on Troy Road Sunday morning prompting a homicide investigation, according to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police responded to a 911 call shortly after 9 a.m. and found an injured man outside the Troy Road home and the dead man inside, authorities said.

The cause and manner of death are pending and the investigation remains open and ongoing, as such police declined to identify the pair.

Authorities said this appears to be an isolated incident and there does not appear to be any ongoing risk to the public.

The investigation is being conducted by members of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office – Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit.
