Teen Falls Through Denville Lake Ice, Saved by Friend
The 17-year-olds were ice skating on Indian Lake.
Two 17-year-olds were ice skating Indian Lake late Wednesday night when one of them fell through the ice, according to NJ.com. Just before 11 p.m., a Rockaway teenager fell through the ice into 5-6 feet of water and the other teen, from Denville, partially fell in while saving his friend but was able to pull his friend to shore and neighbors assisted before police came.
Neither had hypothermia but were treated and released from St. Clare’s Hospital, according to NJ.com
