Teenage Girl Struck, Killed By Car On Route 80 In Parsippany
A 15-year-old girl ran on to the highway at 3:28 a.m. and was fatally struck, police said.
PARSIPPANY, NJ - A 15-year-old girl was struck and killed by a car on Route 80 in Parsippany in the early morning hours of Tuesday, according to New Jersey State Trooper Alejandro Goez.
According to authorities the girl ran into the roadway near milepost 45.3 in Parsippany where she was struck by an unknown vehicle that was traveling eastbound. The impact caused fatal injuries, and she pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The identity of the victim was not released.

Three lanes of Route 80 were closed for over three hours for the crash investigation.
