Can gaming actually be a good thing? YES, if it’s from the Y! The Lakeland Hills Family YMCA is just one of four YMCAs in New Jersey to have esports, the fastest-growing digital gaming platform for middle and high-school students. It’s both parent and educator approved, and you don’t have to live anywhere near the Y. As everything is digital/virtual, students get to team up with, and compete against, same-level competition throughout the United States.
You can go directly to the site here, read it all, and register immediately. Esports begins on April 5, so get in the game and start gaming soon! Questions? Email Marianne Lomauro: mariannel@lhymca.com
