Voting-Should Parsippany allow voting while school is in session?

Parsippany schools were originally off today, but used it as a makeup day from the snow; school voting locations were not moved.

Today, June 5, Parsippany voters can determine our next Senator, Representative, County Clerk, Freeholders and County Committee members.

To cast their ballot, many Parsippany residents must go to a school, which were in session today due to snow day makeups.

Given incidents like Columbine, Sandy Hook Elementary and as recently as February 14th of this year, when 17 people were fatally shot and another 17 wounded at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, should the general public have access to schools, while students are onsite, if there are available alternatives such as: fire houses, recreation centers, libraries, town hall, etc?
