Will Your Kids Be Voting With You Today?
Some children enjoy the trip to the polls with their parents.

With the contentious school board elections today, perhaps we can stick to a more innocuous Moms Talk question regarding elections.
Not all who vote, vote alone. In fact, there is an official statement on New Jersey's website (I had to look) that states you can bring children under the age of 18 into the voting booth—there is no maximum occupancy listed.
I have always taken my older daughter, mainly because I would go after work to pick her up from daycare, then take her to the polls. At first, it was a matter of convenience, but she rather liked the whole process—the official part of signing in, going into a “secret” room and mom allowing her to carefully push the buttons. Plus, there was a sticker at the end.

Do you currently, or did you (when they were little) take your kids with you to vote? If so, did you let them push the buttons? I will be bringing my two—how many kids have you fit into the voting booth with you?
