2 Princeton Football Players Named Preseason All-Americans
The STATS FCS Preseason all-American team was announced this week.

PRINCETON, NJ — Two Princeton University football players have been named to the STATS FCS Preseason all-American team, according to the NCAA.
Senior wide receiver Jesper Horsted has been named to the second team, while senior John Lovett was named third-team special teams (all-purpose). To see the whole team, visit ncaa.com.
Horsted set a new single-season Princeton record for touchdown receptions (14) and receptions (92) last season, according to goprincetontigers.com. He led the Ivy League in touchdown receptions, overall receptions and receiving yards.

Lovett was named the Ivy League’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2016, but missed last season due to an injury. He is set to return for his senior year.
Princeton will open the season Sept. 15 at Butler. The home opener is Sept. 22 against Monmouth.
