2021 Guide To Memorial Day Events In Mercer County
Mercer County communities will honor the sacrifices of America's soldiers this Memorial Day. Here's where:
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — With New Jersey recently lifting outdoor gathering restrictions, many county municipalities are organizing events for Memorial Day this year.
Last year events and parades were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Princeton:
Princeton Battlefield Society will be hosting a number of programs for Memorial day. On Sunday, May 30, there will be a memorial wreath-laying ceremony at 3 p.m. There will also be a used American history book sale, musket firing demonstration, tour of the battlefield at 1:30 p.m. and a pop-up Princeton Battlefield Society General Store featuring hand-painted miniature soldiers, maps, caps, musket flints, and Mercer Oak mementos

Lawrenceville:
This year, Lawrence Township is hosting a Memorial Day parade on Saturday, May 29 at 10 a.m. The route will begin at the Lawrence Township High School parking lot, move to Princeton Pike, Darrah Lane, Birchwood Knoll, and Berwyn Place. Staging starts at 9 a.m. at Lawrence Township High school. Here's a handy map of the route:

Hamilton Township:
Mercer County will observe Memorial Day on Sunday, May 30 at 11 a.m., at the Veteran Section at Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Ave. Hamilton Township Mayor Jeff Martin, a U.S. Air Force veteran, will deliver the keynote address at the event.
West Windsor:
A ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, May 30 at 11 a.m., at the American Legion Centennial Memorial, West Windsor Municipal Complex. The ceremony is in coordination with the American Legion Post 76, Mayor Hemant Marathe, and the West Windsor Township Council.
