22-Year-Old Ewing Man Charged Burglary, Theft from Krauszer's Food Store

A 22-year-old Ewing man faces multiple charges after he allegedly smashed the door of Krauszer’s Food Store in the 800 block of State Road and stole the cash register.
David Clark is charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief and eluding. He was released to Lawrence Township Police on outstanding warrants after posting $50,000 bond. A court date is pending.
According to Princeton Police, there was an alarm activation at Krauszer’s Food Store on State Road on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 2:55 a.m.

Upon arrival, Ptl. Craig Humble saw the store's glass door had been smashed and the cash register inside was missing. On his way to the scene, Humble had noticed a vehicle driving away and had called the description to other responding units. Backup units found Clark's vehicle, but he allegedly fled into Lawrence Township when officers attempted to stop the car.
An investigation determined Clark was a suspect and he turned himself in to Princeton Police on Wednesday.
