Alexander Street To Reopen Friday In Princeton
After seven months of construction, Alexander Street in Princeton and Alexander Road in West Windsor is set to reopen on Friday.
PRINCETON, NJ — After seven months of construction, Alexander Street in Princeton is set to reopen on Friday.
Alexander Street in Princeton, which becomes Alexander Road in West Windsor, closed on Nov. 6 for the Mercer County and NJDOT bridge replacement projects which included two separate bridge replacement projects for three bridges over the Delaware & Raritan (D&R) Canal. Mercer County replaced two bridges and NJDOT replaced one bridge.
Paving and striping by Mercer County and NJDOT on Alexander Street and Alexander Road is the final portion of the project before it will reopen.

The sidewalk has since reopened on May 1.
