
Sustainable Princeton and the Princeton Environmental Commission invite Princeton residents to nominate an individual or institution for the 2011 Sustainable Princeton leadership awards.
Nominations of people, organizations or businesses that preserve and improve Princeton's natural, social or economic environment will be accepted. Submissions are due Dec. 20.
Nominees must have taken steps to:

- protect and improve the natural environment;
- conserve energy and use energy more efficiently;
- avoid the use of toxic substances;
- meet Princeton’s social needs fairly
- contribute to our community’s economic well-being.

Winners will be honored on Jan. 25 during the Princeton Public Library’s Environmental Film Festival.
