PRINCETON, NJ — Bryn Mawr Trust is hosting a contactless food drive at the Arts Council of Princeton on Saturday.
The drive is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Community members are requested to remain in the vehicles with their masks on as volunteers offer more instructions.

- Pasta and rice
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Canned tuna or meat
- Peanut butter
- Boxed, non-refrigerated milk
- Oatmeal and breakfast cereal
- Cooking oil
- Canned stews and soups
- Jellies, jams and preserves
- 100 percent juice
All items collected will be distributed to local food banks and pantries in the community.
The coronavirus pandemic has exacerbated hunger in America. Many local food pantries and shelters are struggling to keep their doors open due to the impact of COVID-19. Meanwhile, many are experiencing mass layoffs making them susceptible to food insecurity.

Over the past few months local communities have come together to help those in need by organizing food drives and donating to pantries.

Patch has partnered with Feeding America to help raise awareness on behalf of the millions of Americans facing hunger. Feeding America, which supports 200 food banks across the country, estimates that in 2020, more than 54 million Americans will not have enough nutritious food to eat due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
