PRINCETON, NJ — A car crash with a downed utility pole and wires has caused Hamilton Avenue to close on Tuesday, Princeton Police said.

The roadway between Walnut Lane and Linden Lane will be closed for an extended period of time, police said.

Drivers are asked to use alternative routes.
