Chess Master to Discuss Book at Princeton Public Library

Chess master Jon Edwards will discuss his book “Sacking the Citadel: The History, Theory and Practice of the Classic Bishop Sacrifice."

The book tells the history of Italian chess master Giochino Greco’s discovery of a bishop sacrifice that often leads to checkmate or a material advantage. It traces what has come to be called the “classic bishop sacrifice” from its discovery and formative years through its more complex uses in modern chess.
