First Coronavirus Death In Princeton
Princeton has 32 total confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Thursday.
PRINCETON, NJ —The first death in Princeton from the new coronavirus was confirmed on Thursday by the Princeton Health Department.
A woman in her 90s who may have acquired COVID-19 through contact with a home health aide was the victim, the Princeton Health Department reported.
The health department is working to determine if anyone else had contact with the home health aide.

"Princeton extends our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the patient, as well as all who have been affected by this outbreak. We continue to strongly recommend that all Princeton residents, workers, students and visitors take the necessary precautions to protect themselves against novel coronavirus. Your health and the health of the community is our top priority," the health department stated.

Princeton has 32 total confirmed COVID-19 cases. There are 20 active cases that are in isolation and 11 cases have recovered.
There are a total of 386 positive cases of coronavirus in Mercer County as of Thursday and four total deaths.
