Four Charged In 2018 Fatal Shooting: Mercer County Prosecutor
Kuyler Fowler, 19, died after the shooting and a 16-year-old was injured.
PRINCETON, NJ — Authorities have charged four men with carrying out a shooting three years ago that left a 19-year-old dead, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced Tuesday.
Breon Phelps, Isaac Fisher, Justin Malkin, and a 19-year-old Willingboro man, are charged with murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses. Phelps, Fisher and Malkin are now 21-years-old.
According to a news release from the prosecutor's office, on May 30, 2018, Trenton police responded to the 900 block of East State Street around 12:30 a.m. after reports of multiple gunshots.

On arrival, police said they found an Audi parked on the street with more than 20 bullet strikes. Kuyler Fowler, 19, was inside the car with a gunshot wound to the head, Onofri said.
He was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later, according to the news release. A second victim, a 16-year-old black male, was struck in the leg. He was treated and released, said the prosecutor's office.

Phelps is currently detained in the Mercer County Correction Center, Fisher and Malkin are incarcerated at the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility and the 19-year-old is currently being held at the Hudson County Correction Center. All four are incarcerated on unrelated charges, the prosecutor's office said.
