Free Tree Seedlings To Be Available In Princeton
Here is where and when you can pick up your free tree seedling in Princeton and Mercer County:
PRINCETON, NJ — In an effort to bring back trees to the area following Hurricane Sandy the New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign is offering free seedlings in Princeton.
You can pick up free seedlings at 1 p.m. April 28 at Downtown Princeton, Nassau Street, at the Shade Tree Commission Booth. If you can't make it, there will be other pickup dates throughout Somerset County in April.
To date, more than 332,982 trees have been distributed around New Jersey through this program, according to the Arbor Day Foundation. The New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign partners with the New Jersey Forest Service.
