Live Nativity Scene Coming To Princeton Dec. 20

The live reenactment of the birth of Jesus comes to Brandywine at Princeton later this month.

PRINCETON, NJ — Five days before Christmas, Brandywine at Princeton will host “The Angel’s Song,” an intergenerational play designed to get everyone into the holiday spirit. The local community is invited to be a part of the play’s audience on Dec. 20 at 10:30 a.m.

The cast will include the seniors at Brandywine Living at Princeton, two kindergarten classes from St. Augustine of Canterbury School, and Kendall Park. They will play the roles of wise-men, shepherds, angels, Mary and Joseph in a heartwarming story depicting the very Christmas told from an Angel’s point of view.

The show will include live sheep, llama, and a donkey from Quiver Farm, based in Pennsburg, PA. That will make the live Nativity scene unique, play organizers said. At the end of the play, everyone will be invited to join in singing “Happy Birthday” to the newborn King.
