Man Allegedly Assaults Stranger in Hulfish Street Garage, Police Seek Public's Help

There was no apparent reason for the assault, and the victim suffered cuts and bruises.

Princeton Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who allegedly assaulted a victim in the Hulfish Street garage early on New Year's Day.

According to police, the incident happened shortly after 2 a.m. as the victim was walking through the Hulfish Street parking garage. 

The victim said his assailant was a white male- approximately 20 years old, 6’0”, 200 lbs with short, curly blond hair. He said the man grabbed him and they both fell to the ground with the assailant keeping the victim on the ground for some time before letting him up and walking away.

The victim said his attacker appeared to be drunk.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call the Princeton Police Detective Bureau at 921-2100.
