Mercer County Goverment: Commissioners Present 2021 NJAC Scholarships

The following is a complete list of this year's Mercer County NJAC Foundation Scholarship winners.

Trenton – At their June 24 meeting, the Mercer County Board of County Commissioners presented the New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) Foundation Scholarships to Nicholas Cramer, Xadea Green, Lauren Lafharis, Tyler Lucas and Brandon Ochoa, who all recently graduated from Mercer County Technical School.

The NJAC Foundation is a non-profit organization that is funded through grant money from Mercer County companies PSEG, New Jersey Manufacturers, and SHI International. The foundation is committed to providing innovative educational opportunities for county vocational-technical school and county college students.

The scholarship winners were chosen by members of the NJAC Foundation and New Jersey Council of County Vocational-Technical Schools.

"I would like to congratulate our three scholarship winners.  The last year and a half have certainly been a challenge for all of our students, which makes their achievements in the classroom all the more impressive," said Commissioner and current NJAC President John A. Cimino.  I'd also like to thank NJAC and their corporate partners for their commitment to providing financial assistance to our county's vocational-technical students."
