More 'Racially Motivated Hate Speech' Found In Princeton
For the second time in a week, "racially motivated hate speech" was found spray-painted in Princeton.
PRINCETON, NJ — For the second time in a week, "racially motivated hate speech" was found spray-painted in Princeton on Tuesday, Princeton Police said.
On Tuesday, police said they found the graffiti spray-painted on the concrete foundation of the New Jersey Transit Railroad bridge located along the D&R Canal State Park Trail Towpath.
The Princeton Police, who are treating this incident as bias intimidation and criminal mischief, have notified NJ Transit of the graffiti to have it removed.

The graffiti was also reported to the Princeton Police Bias Incident Investigation Officer, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Bias Crime Unit, the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness Unit, and the New Jersey State Police Uniform Crime Reporting Unit.
"This department has been in discussion with various community partners as well as members of our government to help manage the detrimental effects that such hate speech has on our community," police stated.

Another incident of "racially motivated hate speech" was also found spray-painted on the underside of the bridge on Poe Road last Thursday, police said.
"This type of racially motivated hate speech will not be tolerated in our community and we will work diligently to identify those responsible," Princeton Police Chief Nicholas Sutter said previously. Read More: 'Racially Motivated Hate Speech' Sprayed On Princeton Bridge
