New American Restaurant Opens Tuesday In Princeton

The Meeting House at 277 Witherspoon St. offers "a simple, tasteful American dining experience set in a stylish, welcoming space."

PRINCETON, NJ — A new American restaurant, The Meeting House, is opening Tuesday night in Princeton. The bar will open at 4 p.m. and dinner begins at 5 p.m.

The Meeting House at 277 Witherspoon St. is next to the AvalonBay apartments and replaces Two Sevens Eatery & Cantina on Witherspoon Street that closed in October 2018. The space has been fully renovated and also offers garage parking directly behind it at Henry Street and Albert Way.

The restaurant is described as having "a simple, tasteful American dining experience set in a stylish, welcoming space," according to the restaurant's public relations firm.

The Meeting House serves up "well-executed" American cuisine and has a lively bar scene. The restaurant offers a "warm and welcoming attitude toward family dining."

  • Tuesday - Thursday: Bar 4 p.m., Dinner 5 to 9:30 p.m.
  • Friday: Bar 4 p.m., Dinner 5 to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Closed Thanksgiving
