PRINCETON, NJ — The West Windsor Arts Council is opening a new arts center at MarketFair Princeton, in what was once Bobby’s Burger Palace.

The new arts center, called Whole World Arts, will initially be open four days a week beginning June 17. It will include a gallery, shop and studio space.

“We will continue to be guided by our mission to transform the world through the arts, but we are also adding new ideas to make our work even more relevant for our community,” Aylin Green, executive director of West Windsor Arts Council said in a media release.

“We will be using sustainable studio practices whenever possible at Whole World Arts, and also encourage work that brings attention to the environment and creates a vision for a more just and sustainable world.”

A special grand opening is scheduled for the public on Thursday, June 17, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Artists Jonathan Connor and Liz Amaral, who are designing a mural for the space, will be painting live that day. Other family activities have also been planned for the day.
